Adam Pely Are you still planning this trip? because I was considering doing a trip like this too in a few days. Do you have much backpacking experience? I'd be leaving from Florida. What was the first national park you were planning on going to? I recently graduated from the University of Miami and wanted to trek through some of the nicer the national parks. I was hoping to add some mountain biking and kayaking down the rivers too wherever possible.

theog Hi Adam. I'm actually on the trip. Right now I'm in Atlanta. Next weekend (I think) I'll go to cumberland island national seashore. from there I'll be on my way to New Orleans, and stop on the way at Talladega national forest in Alabama and/or De Soto in Mississippi.
