I love to wander - for a day around town, or for weeks in a remote corner of world.
As recently as last week I met genuinely, categorically amazing people couchsurfing through Chicago (if that phrase means nothing to you, I highly suggest you check out the couchsurfing website. It is, in my opinion, the only way to travel).
This year I'd like to trek the Appalachian Trail for a few months in late spring. I have backpacked the Grand Canyon, small sections of the Appalachian, and various places around Michigan and Ohio. Every trip grants me new insights and friends.
In between trips I study biology and math at the University of Michigan.
