I am a 22 year old laid back person looking for a travel companion(s) for the fall/winter of 2012 to wander through Europe with. I would love a mixture of cities and natural spaces while keeping a low budget. I'm an optimist and love to mix up busy days with ones meant to relax or wander.

halpin12 Hello your trip sounds awesome :) i was looking to go to Europe this year too. Since I come from Australia I have never seen snow. Europe in winter (if i dont go in Summer) would be amazing. Any plans?

Catherine Hey! As of right now, I'm looking at going from Sept to the end of Dec. My plans are certainly flexible, but my current plan is to starting in England, followed by Scotland and Ireland, ferrying over to Sweden, going through Denmark, Germany and the Czech Rep. After a visit to Austria, I'd wander(train..., bus...?) through Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia and Albania until I got to Macedonia. I'd spend a few weeks in Greece, then Italy and Spain. I also definitly have the possibility of extending the trip. Where are you looking at going and for how long?

halpin12 I am looking at going everywhere and anywhere really :) wanted to see la tomatina, ibiza, and oktoberfest but also wanted to see the snow so its a tough choice. I am free to go anywhere between July and Jan 2013. I was thinking of going for about 6 weeks but would love to stay longer!

Catherine That sounds fantastic! I am looking at travelling for a little over 3 months. I also just want to travel everywhere! I don't know how much snow I will be seeing though... either way, figureing out the departure date can certainly be difficult! Do you have any more plans figured out yet?

Catherine I'm looking at beginning in England then going to Scotland, Ireland, Sweden, Demark, Germany, Czech Rep, Austria, Italy, Greece & Macedonia and Egypt. My Alternate route visits a few more easterly countries between Austria and Greece and then following the Mediterrian Sea over to Italy and Spain... I'm thinking about starting in Sept and finishing in Dec, although if I really like a place or want to keep going then i probably will... :D

Catherine Hey everyone! I'm also looking at going to the same places (Greece, Italy, Spain, Germany, England, Ireland... the list goes on) and am hoping to start in September. marja-leena sounds great! i am planning to be in italy and greece in september is it possible to meet up with somebody? anybody? im 18 and my parents would prefer i don't travel alone. eventually i am meeting up with my uncle in greece.

Catherine Awesome! i'm currently setting up a spreadsheet that anyone invited can alter. If you guys would like, I can send it your way once I'm done setting it up and we can all put our travel ideas/info into it and it might give us a better picture as to where we plan to be and when. I'm still in the process of working out my route. Anyways, if you're intrested let me know - it just may be a bit easier of a way to organize ourselves.
