Charlie Hey, everyone! I'm planning a early January departure for Buenos Aires followed directly by a bus trip down to Tierra del Fuego. The main goal of this portion of the trip is venture over to Antarctica from Ushuaia. If anyone has completed this trip before, it would be great to hear from them!

comehikewithmike Charlie, there are lots of trips here going to Argentina in Dec/Jan/Feb. There's a very popular one to Machu Picchu, but I'm interested in the one to climb Aconcagua. Is that you sort of thing?

Charlie Hey, Mike....I actually hiked to Machu Picchu via Salkantay Pass in 2007. A spectacular trek. Right now, I'm focusing more on Tierra del Fuego and the Antarctic Peninsula. If you've been to Antarctica, I would like to hear about your experience.
