Cheryl Wow, this is so close to the trip I'm planning for February and March of 2013! I'm planning Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia. Would love to hear about your experiences/suggestions for this part of the world! If anyone following this trip is interested in meeting up next year, please let me know!

A Pat Cheryl, I am interesting in going to these countries as well in February and March of 2013. When in February are you planning on leaving and what country do you plan to go to first?

Cheryl That's great! I'm somewhat flexible with the date that I'm leaving the U.S. but it will be the first week of February. Planning to start in Bangkok for a few days, head north then loop back down and through Malaysia to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysian Borneo, Bali and possible some of Australia. How about you?
