I am also planning a trip to Tibet this summer, but maybe it's a bit earlier than your date. I want to fly into China on 1st August, then directly head to Tibet after 2 days preparation. Is it possible for you to change your plan? I have to leave China before 25th August.
inthesky729 Wow, sounds like a cool trip Jess. Definitely matches my own itinerary...I'm looking at getting into Nepal around the start of October, spending a couple of weeks there, mainly on the Annapurna Sanctuary trek, then zig-zagging my way across India for two months. Any particular parts of India you're keen to hit?

Jessica_Alice Hey! I am looking to be Tibet around this time (although no flights or concrete plans have been made yet). I am not so sure if you can only get through Tibet via China? My plan was India & Tibet - I have been to Nepal before so may not go there again.
