jamesbronz dang this sounds incredible stark. i would LOVE to be a part of this but i'm not rich yet, but i am on the verge of becoming very wealthy in the near future thanks to getting into the dot com market approx 12 years ago. but life is so short my brother and if anything....this is the reason why i am creating these sites so that i can live financially free...so that i can travel the world with no restrictions. the universe is amazing and if anything...i am a traveller of it and now that my mother is gone, the women that i loved with all my heart...i am fearless and have nothing to lose. please keep me updated brother...i would love to follow your progress. God be willing maybe i can join you and in return do something that would allow me to say..."james....your life here on earth has been amazing". thanks brother.

Starkinc1 i will definetly keep you updated!. sorry 2 hear about your brother n mom. we have got quite a few years yet 2 plan ahead, we are 65% through the process of making this trip happen! so hopefully it will go ahead, finally got a boat, just 5 more problems to sought out: the crew needs to be at least 60 people especially to control the boat, the jeeps, the aircraft, the spares for some of the jeeps as some of them are no longer in production, and more crew!, but im sure will get there, if u have any questions about this trip, ill be glad to answer them

jamesbronz It will get done my friend...it will get done. As ironic as it is...I was interested in buying this site but someone just purchased it only a few days ago..lol but enough of that. I live in the los angeles/hollywood area so I if needed I can bring along a film team if you want the whole experience to be documented....I would REALLY..REALLY love that and it would be so amazing. In all...I want to be a part of your journey as to embrace it as mine and I know it will be simply mind blowing. I say let's do it.

Guppy

Guppy Just drove through Mexico a couple months ago and at points it was kind of scary but if you stick to the main highway you should be fine. Get like 1 hour from the border then leave at dawn so you can get a full day of driving in past the border, which is the worst part. Only drive during the day. Always, always stick to the pay roads. It'll cost a bit more but save you way more money in time and gas, plus much much safer. Sleep at well lit, walled in places on the main road. There are lots of corrupt cops and people posing as cops and you'll run into lots of checkpoints. They'll threaten you with bogus charges if you don't pay them a little gift. I suggest just paying. If you cause them trouble they'll radio to their buddies who will pull you over further down. Do not flash your money though. Keep most of your cash hidden, only carry a little bit in your wallet. That way you can be like "oh I only have $10 not $40" and they'll probably take it. The actual military checkpoints are serious though, so no worries about bribes from them. Once you get in the southern half of Mexico it's much nicer.
