Love adventures, animals, thai boxing, water sports, beaches and dancing.
Work in IT and am fleeing the cold. I work out 5 times a week so I'd like to meet/travel with people who are as active.
Course there will be some lazy/party days too though ;)
NYE will start off in Phuket and then I'll head up north afterwards. http://g.co/maps/bnvrw
After Northern Thailand, Laos and Cambodia, I'm heading to Bali, Similan islands and heading through Indonesia to Borobudur temple with no exact route but towards Jakarta...am flexible and would love to meet people, so come to Phuket for NYE and let's take it from there :)

Jaxon Your jungle route looks epic. Just be careful near the borders, check the travel advisory websites for any travel warnings because there's often guerrilla warfares. If you're in Phuket I'd recommend Sinbi Muay Thai, all the guys at my gym swear by it. I have a recommendation for a training camp in Chiang Mai as well, I can find out the name of it if you want? When are you heading there?
Hummingbird Hello,
your trip sounds great, especially the muiy thai clubs and exercising. I wish I could join you , but I am a bit out of fitness at the moment. However, I am looking to find a group to spend New Year with - anywhere in Asia is fine. Do you have any firm plans for NY?
Cheers, Ann (currently in the Philippines)
Jasmin Hi, I will be in SE Asia between Dec to Feb..after NYE on Phuket I'm traveling north. http://g.co/maps/bnvrw

Jasmin If you want to do Vietnam, I can only say, try doing the Cuc chi tunnels if you have to pass through Saigon, if not, skip it/take a night bus up the coast.
I took mine to Nha Trang as it's known to be one of the nicest beaches.
Wish i would have made it to hanoi as I heard people a friendlier up north and i really wanted to see Sapa and Halong bay.
Mui ne isn't that interesting apart from red sand dunes :)
Good luck on your trip
