I am 21 years old and about to graduate from college in the spring of 2012. I haven't travelled much in my life and would like that to change! It has always been a dream of mine to backpack across Europe, and the summer after I graduate from college seems like the perfect time to do it. Like I said in my trip descripton, I am a pretty laid back, go-with-the-flow kind of person. However, I am also very mature and responsible. I want to have fun on this trip but I want to be safe as well, especially since we'll be visiting unfamiliar places. I want to travel with someone who has a simliar mindset as me. I don't wanna get stuck travelling with someone who is going to run off alone half way through the trip, or do anything irresponsible and stupid that could get us into trouble while we're there.

Lisa510 Hey Diego, I'm sorry I'm just responding to you now but I haven't been on here in awhile so I just saw this message. But anyways, as of right now I don't know what I'm doing next summer as far as traveling goes because I might have a new job, in which case I probably wouldn't be able to get time off. I should hopefully know by Christmas time what's going on, and I will defintely keep in touch now that alot of people have let messages on this site.

Todd Hi Alysia, we've just added a round-the-world (RTW) tab at the top of the website so you can easily find the latest round-the-world backpacking trips. We're currently in Berlin, which we love. Just came from Asia which was also a blast. Hope you find a trip to join or at least other people to catch up with.

katieusa Hey guys! I'm new to the site but was trying to find people to backpack with in Europe. None of my friends would really be up for it, and I"m afraid even if they say yes they'll bail at the last minute so I really want to plan ahead to at least have people to meet up with over there. Im free from the first week of June until the third week in August so I'm super flexible with dates. I'm leaving out of Las Vegas, and I'm 22 years old. I'm a pretty chill person, I just think it'd be more fun to share this adventure with people rather than have to worry about finding people when I get over there

Myrtie Rena Williams Hi there, my name is Myrtie and I'm currently in Chicago, but I'm from Northern Virginia. My friend and I were literally just having a conversation about back packing in Europe after graduation. We will both be 22 at that point but this sounds like just the type of thing we were looking to do. She's been but I haven't been to Europe before, and we are both new to backpacking, but still pretty mature and adventurous about trying new things. Lisa510 haha that is okay, we all have those moments :-) And yes Poland and Switzerland are included in Schengen- I just double checked online. I want to go to those places as well. Basically I want to go everywhere in Europe haha. I am pretty flexible with everything. We should definitely talk more if you're interested!

Took a sudden get away from work and am loving every bit of it. But I realize, having a travel group would be even more fun. I would love to come back again next year. Are highlights are going to be Paris,France; Barcelona and Madrid, Spain; Bern, Switzerland; Rome and florence italy and Austria somewhere. we are open to other places as well. Lisa510 Honestly I just guessed completely based on what I thought everything would cost. That amount does include all of the transportation including what I imagine a plane ticket would cost from the U.S. to Europe.
