I'm in my twenties and I recently had the urge to re-orient my career or to have new experiences in my life, while I still can. I would wish to travel at a minimum fee by wwoofing and couch surfing around europe and eventually see where that could lead me. I also need to develop some social skills by meeting new people.

Mathieu Brennan Bergeron Hey Alissa, I am going to France to do the vendanges, which will be in mid september. I wanted to trek through the alps from Grenoble to austria, or as much of it as I can, from august 22 through September 13 - 15. Mathieu Brennan Bergeron I'm in the same state of mind as you are, did two years of work after my college and I have no passion left, I want to travel the world before going back to school and try different jobs while travelling. I looked up Woofing and couch surfing and I also found a great website called http://www.workaway.info/ which lists a lot of small households in need of help in return for food and shelter. Doing those things will help me save on costs, and I'll try to travel by foot the more I can. I'll keep you informed if I find anything useful for lone travelers!

Steph That would be great thanks! Yeah I wouldn't mind doing work at hostels for room and board. Or volunteering, but I plan on working insane amounts before I go so I'll have time to enjoy and not worry so much about the money.
