I am planning a mountaineering trip followed by a railroad tour of the capital cities of Europe, trying to get as many in as i can before the money runs out.

Nathan No i do not have a strict plan however it would be in eastern europe somewhere, going to start at the end of july from north east and work my way round :). What countries are you going to do?

Ian [EagerExistence] Looks great. Except being from AU, I don't have the same timeline as you (only got the Schengen Agreement for Visas).

Todd Yeah, what a great idea. I'm also from AU, but I have plenty of time, just not the budget for Europe. Great inspiration for something similar in Asia maybe. I've also thought about visiting the places with the most extreme weather in the world. The desserts of the middle east (or Ethiopia) for the heat, remote villages in Siberia for the cold, etc. Just a thought.
