tkhan Hey Tyro....that sounds awesome ! Yes rainy season starts up somewhere november and so i'm starting my trip nov 3rd, in lima and will first get MP outta the way. Dont wanna miss that now, do we :) After that i will head down to Bolivia to do the Lake Titicaca, Amazon and Salt Flats ! Lets talk for sure...

Tyro Hi....apologies for the delay. I'm getting closer to being certain on dates... and Nov 3rd might be a bit too early for me :( Are you flexible with dates - perhaps meeting in Peru a week or 10 days after that? Also were you thinking of doing the Inca trail to MP, or one of the other treks there. I hear the Inca trail is definitely the best but it does require booking in advance. (just something else to plan :)) Anyway, do let me know what you think about dates and if you're still looking to plan something out. thxx!

tkhan Hello Hello.... yes you are right on! Inca trail is def the best and is selling out fast. Oct is almost sold out except for 28th! But ofcourse you can do alternate treks too. And about dates, im actually pulling my trip forward by a week into the last week of Oct. The wet season starts in nov so that is not so much fun :) can u come ?

Tyro hey! As tempting as it is...I think the first week of Nov is the earliest I could go :( If you don't mind risking the extra week and going for Early November then lets get planning :)) Sorry about the inflexibility btw...its all job related though - i would have loved to make an earlier start!

Tyro hey tkhan, Your trip sounds cool... :) I was looking to head over that side of the world from London in November as well, but had initially planned on ending my trip in Peru (Starting in Argentina). However, I hear its rainy season after November in Peru though and i don't want to risk missing Macchu Picchu so am now going to start in Peru instead. My plan would be to do the route down from Peru to Bolivia and then into Argentina. Nothing really planned from there but I have a few months to play with so will just see how it goes :) Interested in discussing more?

Tyro Hey, I'd love to go visit the middle east. Lebanon & Jordan towards the top of my list! 10-12 days sounds about right for me as well. Were you planning a budget(ish) trip or ? Anyway - I'm flexible with time as well although End of september would be ideal for me. Let me know if you want to look into it a bit more....thx!

orenishi hi tyro..yeah lebanon, jordan, syria have been sitting at the top of my list for around 5 years too! i'm not sure about the budget, possibly budget to mid range. i dont think i could do end of september because i'm on holiday at the moment, and will need to be back in england in sep/oct. i will have a better idea regarding exact dates in about a month when i'm going to get serious and start looking at tickets. whereabouts are you based? if you're in england then maybe we could meet up to discuss it. anyway i'll keep you posted on what dates i can do.

Tyro hey again! Sounds good.. I'm in London and happy to meet up to discuss more. Whereabouts are you based? BTW i was in a pretty similar situation with having to wait for a new jobs' start date to be confirmed before travelling anywhere! I've ended up deferring it till March next yr though so am more flexible with dates etc now :)
