We are going on tour with VietnamVespaAdventures.com on the 7 day Saigon to Nha Trang trip in Vietnam. We need more people to come with my wife and I (we are both in our 20's from Australia).

Sometimes getting away from it all takes time and, well, elevation. On our unique seven-day tour, you'll follow the three-day Mui Ne route along the coast, then detour inland and up to the mountainous former French retreat of Dalat. The downhill run twists through the hills of the central highlands and countless remote rural villages, ending at the bustling oceanside metropolis of Nha Trang. The all-inclusive price covers everything you'll need.

Price is $1200 US per person or $2000 for a couple.

Timmy Hey Benjico, I'm really looking forward to following your trip and seeing how it's goes. 3 mates and I are planning on doing a similar thing next year but probably not on Vespas. Considering we're all pretty handy with a socket set and one of the guys is a engineer/mechanic we might just but our own. Any chance we could have a conversation via skype once you get back? I'd love to have a chance to ask you some questions and get an actually tourists perspective on this trip as opposed to Top Gears/a tour companies. Regards, Timmy

Lauren Hi Benjico, this trip sounds really cool, exactly what we're looking to do in Vietnam. However we're thinking of staying quite a bit longer and thinking of the advantages of buying scooters (instead of renting them just a week) to explore at our own pace.

Todd Hi elizabeth, I did some research and it seems a bike would be about $1000, depending on condition. But the downside of buying vs taking a tour is that you'll have to handle maintenance, fuel, etc. I'm not sure how long I'm staying yet, but will post here once I have more info.

Todd This sounds great Benjico. I'll be in India just before that and we were thinking of visiting Vietnam afterwards. Have you been before? Do you need a motorcycle license? I'll pass the word around because I may know some other people interested in this.
