Backingpacking Western Europe for about 3 weeks maybe more in September. The locations are a bit flexible. I'd like to set out from Ireland then go to London-to-Brussels-to Munich for Oktoberfest which starts September 22 and I'd love to make it there by the 24th. Then Paris-to Barcelona. I'd like to stay in hostals and/or pitch a tent.
I have backpacking experience around the Northwest in the US but I'm inexperienced around europe.
I'm laid back, fun-loving, adventurous and open to any suggestions.

Varun This trip sounds cool. I'd love to join you guys for the London-Brussels-Munich portion depending on the dates/itinerary/etc. I plan to visit family in Basel and Zurich afterwards before heading home. I'm a 25 yr old guy from Chicago.

Somya Hey Annie, I am going to start my trip from either Ireland or England in Sept first week..we can probably meet there?Have you decided yet when you are going to start your travels and how long are you planning to stay in U.K. and Ireland?

Annie Hey, I am going to be in Ireland for probly the first 2 weeks in September. I haven't bought my tickets yet but I know i'll be in Ireland for 2 weeks.

Somya Oh, I thought you are only going to travel for 3 weeks or so? When are you planning to be in England/Belgium? I will taking the same route too...I will start in Sept (1st week) from Ireland and cover the above mentioned countries as well as Netherlands, Austria, Czech Republic before heading to Munich for Oktoberfest in 1st week of October..

Nat Bonfire i think your trip is quite similiar than mine. Only instead of Germany I prefer Italy. I would love to go to the Munich Oktoberfest. I would like to be your travel partner. :)

Annie Right on! Yeah, Oktoberfest will be awesome. It starts Sept. 22 but i'd like to be there by the 24th because I hear weekends are pretty impossible.

Annie I'm guna be in Ireland for 2 weeks and then leave from there probly on the 16th. Then I want to go to London-Brussels-Munich-Paris then end in Barcelona. Where all r u wanting to go?

Nat Bonfire I want to start in Amsterdam, then Brussels, London, Paris, Barcelona, Italy and end in Munich. I think we are going in opposite directions jeje, And I want to go to oktober fest at october 2, since rides and performances cost less that day. Do you think we can meet at some point? but still I have no tickets so everything can change. I'm planning to buy them this or the other month.

Annie Well we're pretty much going to all the same places it would be cool if we could meet up at some point. If thats the order your traveling in maybe we could meet in Paris and or Barcelona.
