Western Europe: July-August 2013 - Group Travel

My plan right now is to fly from the USA to either Aberdeen or Edinburgh, Scotland. A great desire of mine is to take tours of ancient castles and explore the backroads and countrysides of the UK. I want to travel south through the UK and possibly take the Chunnel into France. From there I would like to travel throughout France and even get into western Germany. After those two countries, I would like to go into Italy and possibly through Switzerland. I want to do sightseeing and other things in Italy, including Rome. Eventually I want to end up in Athens, Greece and explore parts of that country as well. It would be awesome to sample some of what these cultures have to offer such as tasting authentic foods, beer, wine, etc. and trying my hand at speaking the languages. I don't want to stay out of fancy hotels but would prefer to stay out of hostels which are cheaper. I don't like to shop all that much and prefer to enjoy the sights and culture more than buy stuff. If I think of other things to add to this list I'll update it as soon as I can. The dates are flexible for me, but I want to leave either at the late part of June or early part of July and arrive back in the US the first couple weeks of August. Right now I am looking for 1-2 people who share these common interests and would love to share in these travels! I am 25 years old and lots of fun too! Thanks for looking.
