Name Wonderful West Coast Hiking Adventure!
Hi! I'm looking for a buddy (or more) who is keen to join me for all or part of my trip. It would be great to be able to share some costs and provide moral support in times of bear-related freak-outs!
I fly in and out of Los Angeles. I plan to head north possibly as far as Vancouver, then turn around and head south further inland. This trip will be predominantely hiking focused, though I am up for any kind of adventure! I'm keen to do some running, mountain biking, and perhaps take a climbing course if the opportunity arises. So far my plan doesn't have much of a plan, so in that sense I am quite flexible and open to ideas. Here's a bit of a basic idea so far, at least places I'm set on visiting:
Sequoia
Kings
Yosemite
Banff
Jasper
Glacier
Yellowstone
Grand Canyon
Moab
I think hands down the best way to get around will be by car, so I will be buying or renting a car in LA. I will take my tent with me and try to do this on the cheap. When camping is not possible I will stay in hostels or with friends. I enjoy being active, but I also enjoy kicking back with a beer, meeting new people, having a good laugh and a chinwag :)

Still looking for flights? You can have flight experts compete against one another to find you the absolute best and cheapest flights.
abcdefghivan hey amy and mulligan, i'm planning on doing a similar trip for two months from about 6th july onwards. i want to go up the west coast from LA and i plan on going to a few of the same national parks and a few other different ones. i also want to try spending some time in some nice cities.
im thinking Guadalupe, Big Sur, San Fran, Point Reyes, Redwood, Portland, Seattle, Grand Coulee, Glacier, Flathead Lake, Hell's Canyon, Yellowstone, and Grand Teton.
from there i will probably want to head eastwards towards south dakota and the badlands and onwards. im down for a lot of camping, and have also couchsurfed a lot. i study in the US and can easily do the paperwork for getting a car, just looking for good company and people to share costs with. let me know if you wanna work something out!
