Central African Republic is a landlocked country in Central Africa. The country is bordered by Cameroon to the west, Chad to the northwest, Sudan to the northeast, South Sudan to the east, the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the south, and the Republic of the Congo to the southwest. The terrain of Central African Republic is mostly a plateau with some mountains in the northeast and southwest. The climate is generally tropical with two rainy seasons and two dry seasons. The capital of Central African Republic is Bangui. French is the official language, but Sango and other African languages are also spoken. Christianity is the predominant religion. Central African Republic’s cuisine includes dishes such as fufu, kebabs, and couscous.
