Map of Cook Islands

The Cook Islands are a group of 15 islands located in the South Pacific Ocean. They are spread over an area of 2 million square kilometers, with a total population of just over 100,000 people. The Cook Islands are renowned for their natural beauty, with white sand beaches, blue lagoons, and lush vegetation. The islands are also home to a unique culture, with Polynesian influences visible in everything from the language to the dance. When it comes to geography, the Cook Islands are divided into two main groups: the Northern Cook Islands and the Southern Cook Islands. The Northern Cook Islands consist of 10 islands, while the Southern Cook Islands consist of 5 islands. Within these groups, there are a further 3 sub-groups: the Australs, the Penrhyns, and the Palmerston Islands.
